Defining Third World Women
After reading "Feminism without Borders" from what I understood Mohanty is try to convey that it is extremely difficult to define what makes up a Third world women. This is because she points out that in this age the world is not separated by just national borders and as the world has become more diverse we cannot just define other or ourselves by where we live in the world. She also brings up how their really isn't one defining characteristic that unifies women. Women fit into all sorts of different categories and reach across all borders and so their is no adequate indicator of what all women are going through making even that more difficult to define feminism.
